If you have forgotten your user name and/or password and are a LDBS registered school/academy then you can use the ‘contact us’ button on the bottom right to request a confirmation email – this will be sent to the email address that has been supplied to us by the LDBS or ring Mitch on 020 7932 1160.
What is the process after I have placed my advert?
Once you have completed your advert request ,you will be sent a TES reference number. This is the number that is exclusive to your particular advert and should be quoted on all correspondence pertaining to the ad.
Once the advert has been approved by the LDBS to go to artwork stage then the registered design agency (Cleverbox) will create your advert and email you with a PDF proof of the artwork. This PDF will need to be formally approved by your school before it is sent to the TES.
If you have any edits to this initial advert PDF, please liaise with Cleverbox direct via email.
You will get your confirmation that the advert request is being processed within 48 hrs (Monday to Friday). Before the request is sent to the LDBS for confirmation you will be asked to confirm that all of the information you have input is correct – this is your last chance to check and approve the details – any further edits to your information after this approval will result in additional costs.
What do I do if I do not receive my confirmation email within 48hrs (Monday-Friday)?
Although the system we have in place has thus far provided us with 0% ‘down time’ online, if you do not receive your confirmation and reference number please contact the LDBS Recruitment desk on 020 7932 1162.
What if I want a bespoke sized advert?
The advert sizes that are available on this site have been chosen specifically by the LDBS to offer maximum flexibility across all schools whilst maintaining consistency across the brand.
If you require an advert outside of the various choices provided please contact the LDBS through the web site and they will advise you on the best course of action to take and provide you with the relevant costs. Booking through the LDBS will still entitle you to the discount provided through this site.
Please bear in mind that any bespoke adverts may take longer to design, so please build in as much time as possible.
What do I do if I want a design outside of the templates provided online?
All of the design templates that have been made available on this site have been specifically approved by the LDBS. In order to maximize the LDBS brand bespoke adverts need to be channelled through the LDBS using the ‘contact us’ link on the bottom left corner of the web site.
Does my school still qualify for the discount if I do not book through this site?
No, the purpose of this website, in order to create a strong and succinct LDBS brand, is to ensure that all LDBS schools are placing adverts in the correct manner. The TES discount has been agreed for adverts being placed through this website only.
How do I change my schools details which appear automatically on the website?
Within the ‘Create your advert’ page there is an option to ‘Change school details’ – selecting this option will enable you to update the database information that is stored on your school, this will then become the ‘default’ text that will automatically appear in all of your advert fields.
Please note that changing details (i.e. telephone number, email) on specific adverts will not update the database which sits within the site, so all details will be returned to their original state once a new advert request is started.
What happens if I miss my deadline for placing the advert?
The deadline system that is in place within this site has been carefully devised to ensure that schools have enough time to place adverts, and that our design team have enough time to create the adverts and book the space with the TES. If you miss a deadline then please contact the LDBS Recruitment desk on 020 7932 1162, to discuss your options.
What if my advert is created but is incorrect?
Once your first PDF of the artwork has been emailed to you for approval, you will be able to respond to the email with any edits that you may have. These edits are not done through this site – please deal directly with the designer who emails the advert to you.
What happens if I approve an advert and then realize it is incorrect?
Once you have inserted all of the information into your advert request you will be asked to carefully check through all of the information you have inserted and give final approval. This email will then be sent for artworking, once you receive the PDF file from the design agency to approve then you will have one final opportunity to check and change any details.
Once this PDF has been approved then the artwork is sent directly to the TES and it will be too late to make any further alterations.

What do I need my reference number for?
Your reference number is important as this is the only reference that is common between the TES, the design agency and the LDBS. Within any correspondence relating to your advert this reference number must be quoted.
This is also the number that will be saved in your ‘Previous advert’ section (amongst other information) so it is a good idea to keep a note of these somewhere – especially if you are placing a large quantity of adverts.
My computer crashed whilst placing an advert, how do I know whether it has been processed?
You will know that your advert has been placed once you receive your reference number and confirmation email. If you do not receive this within 48hrs please contact the LDBS Recruitment desk on 020 7932 1162, who will be able to confirm this for you.
What if I have more than one position to advertise?
The advert designs that are provided can incorporate up to two positions. In order to ensure that all LDBS adverts are well designed and branded, this is the maximum amount of positions allowed per advert. If you have any special requests and wish to include more please contact the LDBS Recruitment desk on 020 7932 1162.
